Biography

Armed with a Master’s Degree in Medical Engineering from the University of Rome, Angelo Maura possesses a wealth of knowledge and a passion for the medical device industry. A career spanning over 15 years, Angelo has experience from across the globe, including Europe, South-East Asia, North America, the Middle East and Africa. Angelo previously worked at world-renowned medical technology companies, including Stryker and Johnson and Johnson as well as held various roles within Align Technology, a pioneer in dental care innovation, including the Invisalign clear aligner system and iTero intraoral scanners, such as Director of Global Marketing, Regional Sales Manager and International Product Manager, to name a few.

Appointed the General Manager of Align Technology for the Middle East & Africa in October 2020, Angelo is focused on accelerating Align Technology’s market potential and to further establish a strong brand presence. Angelo applies a strategic approach by continually looking towards the future to increase offerings and communicate the Align Technology vision, utilizing the unprecedented technological advancements and forward-thinking government visions found within the region.
