Burjeel Hospital

Biography

I have been working in Burjeel Hospital for the past 4 years and did my academic training and research from Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare management . I started my career in Burjeel Hospital from Operations and made my way to Patient Experience department as a patient experience officer and after 1 year, promoted to Senior patient experience officer. I have managed several events dealing with patient experience and service excellence by providing training to my colleagues about the best practices to achieve the highest level of patient satisfaction.

I had the opportunity to work with Department of health and JCI Accreditation for the auditing and enhancing patient experience. I am also leading a project with our COO to monitor the smooth transformation from manual to digitized patient experience and what are the main barriers with the help of KPIs and analysis with the collaboration of other departments.
I am also an academic researcher with a degree in Masters of quality management from University of Wollongong in Dubai, which focuses on service excellence, quality of care, digital health and business excellence. I have a paper under review for publish with the help of my program director where I have done extensive research about the impact of covid19 on cancer patients’ quality of care and how digital health have impacted this phenomenon.

I plan of initiating and leading several projects in my hospital for the enhancement of patient experience during a pandemic for future studies.
